North Carolina Construction Company

about sedberry construction

Our Mission

In 1986, Danny Sedberry wanted to put his talents to work in a business of his own. Danny believed his years of highly technical work as driller on off-shore platform rigs in the Gulf of Mexico had prepared him for the challenges of the construction business . Over the years, he built from scratch a thriving construction business. Each year has seen steady, predictable, and manageable growth. From the early beginnings in small residential renovations and private houses, Danny deftly assembled the expertise and fmancial strength to take on larger residential and church projects. In time, he recognized the need to bring his idea of quality and cooperative spirit to the commercial and industrial construction markets as well. Now, the company is hailed as "miracle workers" at one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world and is becoming the contractor of choice in the local health care market. A major, high-profile, historic railroad depot rehabilitation was the perfect match for the skills and attention to quality that Sedberry personnel bring to the job. This project represents the logical culmination to the years of careful growth overseen by Danny. Today the company is successfully competing with and working alongside much larger and established firms. Through the years the company has welcomed all three of the Sedberry children and other family members into the business. A host of talented others are taking the company into markets that few construction frrms ever have the opportunity to go. Sedberry Construction continues to reach new heights but never loses the feel of a family business. Clients benefit from this family structure through the attention to quality and in the efficiency that our employees display. The company's motto of "on time, on budget, and outstanding quality" is more than a statement - it has become our reputation.
